Do you agree that it will be a huge success if London achieves its main targets of reducing the number of killed and seriously injured on our roads by 50% by 2010 and reducing the number of children killed and seriously injured by 60%?

Yes. I am pleased to say we are well on the way to achieving these demanding targets. At the end of 2008 we have achieved a 47% reduction in KSIs and a 67% reduction in the number of children killed and seriously injured which demonstrates that we are well positioned to meet the 2010 targets mentioned.
