I have been contacted by constituents complaining about frequent delays on the 499 bus route, which many of my constituents use to travel to the Queen's Hospital. Is TfL aware of these problems and what is being done to improve this service?

TfL is aware that the 499 has not been performing to the standard expected recently, and on 4 July a new schedule to operate the route was introduced. This provides greater time for buses to travel the route and so should help the service be more resilient to disruption. If passengers have any complaints with the 499 or any other service, TfL Surface Transport Customer Services (0845 300 7000) would welcome hearing from them.
