Question

With a view to reducing traffic and parking congestion at Sudbury Town and Northwick Park Hospital, could you ask TfL to consider urgently improving bus services to the hospital by extending the 18 bus route (Euston Station-Sudbury) there to support the sole existing bus route (the 182)?

TfL has investigated the feasibility of extending route 18 to Northwick Park Hospital previously. This would largely duplicate route 182 between Wembley and the Hospital. Route 182 runs every eight minutes on weekdays and Saturdays. The service in the evenings and on Sundays was increased to every twelve minutes in June 2008.

TfL discusses access to the Hospital regularly with local Boroughs and the NHS. Shortening the walking distance between the 182 bus stop and the Hospital entrance is currently being investigated.
