Question

On a recent leaflet on Tramlink improvements Croydon Tramlink appears to have been renamed London Tramlink - what do Croydon Council, the original promoters of the scheme, think of this?

Answer for Tramlink

The existing tram system has never officially been called "Croydon Tramlink". While it has often been referred to as "Croydon Tramlink", due to it being centered on Croydon, the system has always officially been called Tramlink and continues to be called Tramlink, not London Tramlink.

Croydon Council have been extremely supportive of TfL's takeover of Tramlink and the subsequent improvements and investment in the system.
