Answer for Fairtrade

Fairtrade has considerable support across London and globally. 20 Boroughs, 6 London universities, community and faith groups across London boroughs, iconic London institutions and over 1000 retailers and 600 catering outlets provide and sell a range of Fairtrade marked products - all in support of the Fairtrade concept. With a retail value of some £500million, the Fairtrade concept delivers real, tangible benefits to some of the poorest people in the world and helps to build stronger community links in London between business, faith groups, schools, local government, voluntary and community sectors. These groups may not necessarily have forged links had it not been for Fairtrade. I am delighted to support this worthy cause.
