Can you investigate why Farringdon Station toilets are being closed at 8pm at weekends despite the huge problems of anti-social behaviour in the Clerkenwell area caused by late licences? Will you ask TfL to work with Islington Council to resolve the general problem instead of the Council having to use its own limited funds to provide toilet facilities in Cowcross Street?

Where there are existing toilet facilities on its stations, London Underground (LU) always seeks to ensure that they are available in an acceptable condition. If persistent anti-social behaviour prevents this then LU are right to limit the opening hours to ensure the toilets are available for use during the bulk of the day when anti-social behaviour does not occur.

As a transport authority it is not TfL's responsibility to provide toilet facilities outside of its premises.
