Question

Is your much-heralded 'emergency summit' with London's train operating companies indefinitely delayed (much like the trains) because you cannot come to an agreement with some of them over the introduction of Oyster Pay-As-You-Go ? When do you expect the summit to take place and what will be on the agenda?

I am keen to see this occur before the end of the year, although a date has yet to be set. Consequently no agenda has been confirmed, but it is clear that issues such as Oyster, safety and the chronic overcrowding of trains at peak times will be important issues to discuss.
