The policing operation involved 4,475 police officer shifts and 294 police staff shifts. The estimated total cost of the policing operation to the MPS is £1.469m: £1.178m is in relation to opportunity costs, £153k is overtime and £138k is non-pay costs.

The cost of providing police dog search teams was recovered from the organisers and totalled £4,500. The organisers also provided their own security within the exhibition perimeter.
