Will you ask TfL officers to investigate the following problems on New Cross Road? - 262 New Cross Road - there is a badly damaged lamp post that is covered with a plastic warning notice "danger high voltage" that has not been repaired after 3-4 months - 265 New Cross Road - a free newspaper dispenser that was installed there about 3-4 years ago but has never actually been used needs removing - 1-6 Fairlawn Mansions New Cross Road - there is a large metal sheet left on the pavement following roadworks 3-4 years ago which has never been removed.

TfL has been alerted to these issues by the London Borough of Lewisham and has taken the following actions: - The damaged lamp post outside 262 New Cross Road has been removed and replaced with a new, working street light; - Arrangements have been made to remove the newspaper dispenser outside 265 New Cross Road. TfL has previously removed unauthorised dispensers from this site on two occasions (in June 2008 and on 23 October 2008); - The large metal sheet on the footway outside 1-6 Fairlawn Mansions has now been investigated to ensure there was no defect below it, and it was removed on 5 November.
