The GLA contributed £21k towards the costs of the C40 in 2008/09. Financial responsibility for C40 has now passed to Toronto. An original budget of £85 k was set aside by the GLA for the C40 in 2008/09. Options for redirecting £64 k savings towards other climate change programmes are currently being explored. Following this analysis a decision will be taken on where the funds are best allocated to maximise their impact.
