Question

Since you have accepted that letters and messages to the Mayor's Office should receive a response within 20 days, will you now, as Chair of TfL, direct its officers to work to a similar or shorter deadline?

As a rule, Transport for London responds to Assembly Member correspondence within a 20 day deadline. However, I am aware of some instances where this has not happened recently. I have asked TfL to to introduce the necessary safeguards to ensure they can comply with all member correspondence within a 20 day deadline.
