TfL is continuing to undertake feasibility studies into removing a limited number of gyratories around London and restoring two-way working, where this is deemed acceptable. This is a benefit for the majority of road users. In many cases, the large financial cost of removing gyratories, against limited available funding from TfL, would mean that removal could only be funded through section 106 agreements with developers. TfL continues to explore every opportunity for involving developers in projects of this kind.
