TfL is committed to improving operational performance on all London Overground services. To this effect, the contract between TfL and LOROL requires LOROL to improve operational performance and various benchmarks have been set to ensure this happens. LOROL monitors operational performance as a matter of course and this includes, for instance, identifying key problems and individual train services which are particularly affected.

With regards to trains departing early, this is an aspect of operations that has been identified by LOROL as happening in certain circumstances, which is not acceptable, and it is being addressed by a specific initiative targetting drivers and conductors.
