The LDA currently sets targets for and monitors our investments in business support, business creation, skills and employment support outputs broken down by race, gender and disability. In monitoring projects, LDA pays regard to the ethnic profile of target areas and works with delivery organisations to ensure fair access for all local communities.

The LDA is currently supporting a project called Women Business Leaders, providing management and leadership skills training to BAME women, particularly Somali & Bangladeshi in boroughs including Greenwich.

The LDA also supports the Southwark Works employment project, which worked with the Somalian Refugee Council to provide `drop in' employment advice.
