    According to MA 3044 "A new longer-term arrangement between the GLA and LDA for joint working is currently being finalised for Cultural Events in London during 2007-2010. This agreement will be subject to a Memorandum of Understanding between the GLA and LDA and details of each individual event will be subject to the GLA's decision-making process." When will this agreement be finalised and will the assembly be provided with a copy of the memorandum of understanding? What is the approximate anticipated value of the agreement?

    Does the Mayor share my scepticism of the Department of Health's claims that London's NHS will be able to balance its books by the end of the next financial year? What does the Mayor think is the problem with the way the NHS is structured so that so much money needs to be spent on turnaround teams? Does the Mayor not think that after all the management restructuring that has taken place in the NHS, systems would have been put in place to prevent these overspends?

    I am pleased that you have raised concerns about the loss of leisure facilities in Lambeth, but will you also condemn Labour-run Lewisham? They are planning to close down a leisure centre, which will leave Lewisham without any leisure facilities for three years from 2007-2010. Would you find those plans from any council to be unacceptable and will you condemn them?
