As you are aware, the crane adjacent to the A232 was not erected on TfL land. Nevertheless, the licensing of such apparatus by London Boroughs where it will oversail TfL land is an issue that does have implications for future permissions and risk assessments.

TfL is currently reviewing crane licensing procedures to take account of this incident. The first stage will be an internal review by the end of July followed by discussions with the Boroughs with a view to expeditious resolution.
