Appendix C shows the number of pedestrian and cyclist accidents, and the total number of incidents involving articulated buses. These show all reported incidents including those of a minor nature and are irrespective of who was to blame in terms of collisions with other vehicles.Safe operation of the bus network will always be paramount and TfL continue to make improvements to safety, for example, through initiatives such as BTEC training of drivers, supporting bus companies with route risk assessment, and working in partnership with the boroughs.
