Answer for Free Newspapers

Since the launch of the free evening newspapers, TfL has had a number of discussions with each of the publishers, making it clear to them that placing multiple copies of newspapers on buses is not permitted. The publishers have responded positively and this requirement is being clearly conveyed to the distributors. TfL is liaising closely with the publishers to identify and deal with any breaches to the policy, as a result of which there has been a reduction in the number of such incidents. TfL will continue to monitor the situation.
