Answer for Camden Town Graffiti

The Mayor

Prior to Christmas 2006, London Underground (LU) along with the British Transport Police (BTP) and the Infrastructure maintenance companies implemented a plan to maximise security of the network, as a deterrent not only to graffiti vandals but also theft. This has led to an overall decrease in graffiti attacks. The attack at Camden Town is subject to a full BTP investigation. Until these legal processes are complete it would be inappropriate to comment further. TfL will work with BTP in following up identified access routes and will continue to work with all partners to reduce graffiti.
