The public consultation is likely to cover approximately 2,000 ' 3,000 households in the vicinity of Gants Hill. The exact extent and number of consultees is currently in the process of being agreed with the London Borough of Redbridge. I would like to make it clear that there has been no decision taken to close Clarence Avenue. Any proposals for closure would require proper consultation with those affected before any decisions could be taken.
