Answer for MPS Equipment Loss since the year 2000

The MPS has informed me that a stock take scheduled for the end of 2005/6 was cancelled pending the introduction of a bar code system. Incremental slippage of the project, combined with the need for the MPS to meet the demands of major PCSO recruiting exercise, has resulted in the 2005/06 stock take not being undertaken. Irrespective of the bar coding project position, a stock take will take place at the end of April 2007 when the current PCSO recruitment campaign concludes to capture the position for the 2006/7 financial year. The information requested therefore will be available later this year.
