Answer

Answer for Bus Lanes

Answer for Bus Lanes

Two bus lanes were introduced in Bexley in 2000. since then no other bus lanes have been introduced. Investment in bus lanes and other bus priority measures has been a vital element of a programme that has seen huge improvements in bus service reliability since 2000. This has contributed to a 4% modal switch from private to public transport, which is unique for a city the size of London.TfL is disappointed, therefore, that the London Borough of Bexley proceeded against TfL wishes with the experimental removal of the Welling High Street bus lane last year.
