Data is available to show that during the current financial year, TfL has withdrawn plans to install shelters on two occasions in response to residents' concerns. In one case, the stop was right at the end of a route, and very lightly used, so the benefit to passengers would have been marginal. In the other, site constraints meant that passengers sitting in the shelter would have been looking directly into the resident's bedroom.
