Capital Moves, the pan-London choice based lettings and mobility scheme, is being funded by the GLA, London Housing Federation, London Councils and the Housing Corporation, with match funding from the government. This match funding was only announced on 12 December 2006, so the scheme is still at an early stage of its development and the policy framework is currently being determined. While it is clear that the development of pan-London choice and mobility will help tackle under-occupancy (and overcrowding) the partners have yet to agree the detail of its remit.
