The London Travel Demand Survey (LTDS) has been developed by TfL as the 'rolling LATS'. It is seen as an annual rolling survey, not quarterly. Results from the 2005/06 survey are due to be released in the near future. As the LTDS is a household-based interview survey, it should provide information on the trips made by all members of a household by all modes of travel, including walking. It will therefore enable the modal share for walking trips to be monitored.
