The PPP Contracts provide separate allowances for Lift & Escalator closures and minor closures. The Infracos have currently used the following percentages of their allowances for the first contract period:

Tube Lines L&E Closures 6.3% Minor Closures 42.6%

Metronet BCV L&E Closures 57.4% Minor Closures 41.7%

Metronet SSL L&E Closures 80.8% Minor Closures 57.0%

In the event that the Infracos require additional allowances they can approach LU to `buy' them at a cost that reflects the customer disbenefit caused by such closures.
