I agree that it is essential for Londoners and people across the UK to have clear information on how key Olympic promises are being met. But this can be provided in a variety of ways, and the Olympic stakeholders are already setting out how they will meet these promises in specific publications, and through scrutiny and public consultation sessions. For example, the Olympic Delivery Authority has just published a Sustainability Strategy which has been widely welcomed and which details how ODA proposes to deliver on the promise of `the greenest Games ever'. And organisations across London have been working together to plan delivery of commitments around Olympic related benefits - in skills development and increased employment, business and tourism opportunities, and increased participation in sport and healthy lifestyles. These plans, and their national counterparts, will also be published, so everyone can see how these promises are being progressed.
