Once Dial-a-Ride has accepted and confirmed a booking request, it will always prioritise return journeys to avoid the possibility of passengers being left stranded.Dial-a-Ride always aims to schedule both the outward and return portions of a journey request. However, there are times when only the outward portion of a journey request can be accommodated. Passengers will be informed of the situation and they will be offered the single leg of the journey that is available, as the passenger will often wish to take up this offer and use another form of transport, such as Taxicard, to cover the return leg of the journey.
