I have been informed by LFEPA that since the closure of Manchester Square fire station that in the City of Westminster a first fire station engine arrived at incidents in the borough within 5 minutes on 73.1% of occasions. This is well above LFEPA's attendance targets of the first appliance should arrive within five minutes on 65% of occasions.

Whilst a second fire engine arrived at incidents within 8 minutes on 93.1% of occasions against a target of 75%. This is also well above LFEPA's attendance targets of the second appliance should arrive within 8 minutes on 75% of occasions.

These average times are in line with the modelled estimates considered by LFEPA at the time at decided to close the fire station.
