The Mayor

The WHO has shown a keen interest in our work on health and recognises the importance of our strategic leadership to promote health in London. To date we have contributed to the WHO Kobe Centre's Cities and Health programme and the Healthy Cities Collaborative. We are currently considering options with WHO colleagues for additional or continued joint work on their: - Aging and Life Course Programme's work on Age-Friendly Cities;- Centre for Health Development ('the Kobe Centre')'s Healthy Urbanisation programme;- Healthy Cities Collaborative inititaives; - Commission on the Social Determinants of Health programme; and- Climate Change research programme.
