I continue to support the development of a viable scheme to save Dollis Hill House, and have made that commitment a number of times. I have in fact made an offer to match fund costs of renovating the site, which Brent Council have declined to take up. I refer you to my written answer to question 2357. I wrote to Councillor Paul Lorber, the leader of Brent Council, on 7 September this year, following his letter to me of 10 August, asking to advise on the level of funding we might be able to provide. However, I understand that on 9 October, the Executive Committee of the London Borough of Brent agreed to put the site on the open market for a period of three months, rather than commit any further funding themselves.
