Route level information is not available, as MPS crime reports rarely indicate a route number or other information allowing the route to be identified. The primary information used by TfL and TOCU to deploy resources on the network is crime allegations as well as bus driver reports of anti-social behaviour. In April 2004 ' end March 2005 there were 36,100 bus related crime allegations, and for April 2005 - March 2006 there were 40,821 bus related crime allegations. Prior to the formation of TOCU, the MPS did not specifically flag bus related crime, so a full year of bus-related crime allegation figures is not available prior to the financial year 2004/5.
