Question

Recently, on a week day at 4.45 pm, there was only one ticket desk open out of 5 at Earl's Court Station. This is a frequent occurrence due, I am told, to staff rostering problems. Given the recent fare increases, does the Mayor think that this is providing the customer with an acceptable service and offering value for money at the start of the peak evening hours?

At the time indicated in the question, there should be 2 ticket office windows open in the 'A' Ticket Office (Earl's Court Road end) and 1 ticket office window open in the 'B' Ticket Office (Warwick Road end).If you can give me details of when you experienced this problem, I will ask LU investigate the reasons for any shortfall in ticket window service.
