Question

I am sure you will agree that every effort should be made to include public toilet provision when redeveloping or planning new railway or bus stations such as the one at Edmonton Green in Enfield. Will you give an assurance that adequate public toilet provision is factored into any planned redevelopments on TfL sites in the future?

Public toilets, a wheelchair accessible toilet and baby changing facilities are provided by TfL at all new and refurbished staffed bus stations, where feasible. This has been the policy for the last ten years. Exceptions would include sites where there is insufficient room for a building to house toilets, or where there is a public toilet immediately adjacent with an equivalent range of facilities and opening hours.
