Can you clarify if the contract awarded to Wolff-Olins is just for the new London 2012 logo, or for the whole theme of the Games, including, for example, sub-graphics?

The programme of work being conducted by Wolff-Olins is for the core `brand identity' for the London 2012 Games. This includes the Olympic and Paralympic emblem and a brand identity from which all other design elements will flow.This work includes both the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, reflecting the integrated approach to the planning of both Games that LOCOG and the other stakeholders have taken from the outset.LOCOG's aim is to launch the new brand identity in early 2007.
