Answer for Park and Ride

TfL has developed the Park and Ride assessment framework for London, published in November 2004, and updated in November 2005. However, it is not actually planning any Park and Ride sites. Scheme promoters, should they wish to put forward a scheme, are encouraged to use this framework, working up any planning application. The facilities provided for the 2012 Olympic Games are designed for a specific and time-limited event. Decisions on which Olympic facilities could be retained will be made in consultation with the ODA (Olympic Delivery Authority), and relevant boroughs, in the context of the policies and the Park and Ride framework.
