TfL has no plans to remove the flyover at the Bricklayers Arms. Following a review in 2002, TfL built a series of pedestrian and cycle crossings that make the area much more accessible than it was before. For the future, the location is part of the A2 Network Management Plans 'demonstration' work. This study will include a review of provisions for pedestrians and cyclists, and is due to be completed in spring 2007.
