Investment strategies are being developed for all of the 100 Public Spaces Projects. They include contributions from TfL, the LDA and other partners. The 2007/08 TfL Business Plan will be considered at the next TfL Board meeting on 25 October. Funding for design work for the schemes at Tottenham Hale and Victoria Embankment Gardens are proposed to be programmed in the 2007/08 Business Plan. Old Street is not currently one of my 100 Public Spaces Projects, although my officers are working with the London Borough of Islington and TfL to identify ways of improving the public realm in the area. Funding has been provided to the London Borough of Islington in 2006/07 under the Borough Spending Plan process as a contribution towards the Old Street Promenade of Light scheme.I am pleased to say that for Brixton Central Square, Lambeth Council's cabinet agreed on 18 September that TfL should proceed to submit a detailed planning application for the scheme.Funding is already allocated for the Sloane Square project, as advised in my answer to question 0038/2006 in March, as part of the Borough Spending Plan programme.
