TfL will be using the Palestra building to provide modern efficient accommodation for a substantial number of its office-based staff, contributing to front-line service by reducing costs. TfL has taken a head lease of the 30,000 sq metre building direct from the developer for a term of 20 years on full repairing and insuring terms. The London Development Agency, who had already taken two floors of the building, will be TfL's sub tenants. The remainder of the building will be fully occupied by TfL staff.
