Peter Hendy (Commissioner, Transport for London)

TfL has not installed any cameras for the purposes of enforcing the proposed London Low Emission Zone, and would only do so in the event that the Mayor confirmed the Low Emission Zone Scheme Order.

However, TfL has installed a small number of traffic monitoring cameras within the LB Barnet for the purposes of collecting baseline data to monitor the impact of the LEZ ' should it be implemented ' on vehicle emissions.
