GLA officers have met with DCMS, DfES, Sport England, the Association of London Government, the boroughs, LOCOG and the London Federation of Sport to discuss maximising Olympics benefits for grass roots sport in London. A high-level working group, chaired by the GLA, has been set up to drive forward this agenda. Members include representatives of the above organisations, plus the sports industry and the higher and further education sectors.
