The data contained in TfL's incident database does not allow comparisons to be made by type of bus and category of third-party ' such as cyclists ' over the past five years. However, an overall summary of incident rates showed articulated buses with 31.7 injuries per million operated miles, compared to other routes on similar corridors recording 37.1 injuries per million operated miles. For articulated routes, major injuries/fatalities were 9.7 per million operated miles and for other routes they were 11.7 per million operated miles.
