The planning permission secured for the Olympic Park included a plan for the main Olympic Park after the Games. Detailed plans for the Temporary Western Coach Parking Area after the Games are currently being developed and have not yet been agreed. The parking area will be used by the Olympic family including athletes and National Olympic Committee members, as well as sponsor coaches. Using coaches to transport sponsors is part of the public transport plan for the Games and will assist avoiding car journeys to the Park.
