TfL has been developing an assessment framework for proposals for new Park and Ride sites in consultation with key stakeholders. It is currently being finalised. An analysis of the 2001 London Transportation Survey data is also being carried out to give a greater insight into the role and extent of rail based Park and Ride travel. TfL, through London Underground already operate 11,000 Park and Ride car park spaces across its network. An application for a Park and Ride car park at Hatton Cross station is currently the subject of a planning application. .
