On the contrary, London's bus services as a whole are now more reliable than they have been since records began in 1977. That said, there are some routes that aren't meeting targets, and London Buses are working to find solutions. To ensure that safe, reliable and good quality bus services are maintained, London Buses has a wide range of standards that bus operators are required to meet, and performance against these standards is frequently monitored. London Buses works closely with the operator concerned to introduce solutions in cases where any standard falls below the level required, and this approach has led to the unprecedented improvements seen during my first term in Office. If there are any route specific issues, I will be happy to ask Peter Hendy to investigate. .
