No. Government has given support of £200 million of PFI credits towards the capital costs of the Thames Gateway Bridge. The full development and construction cost of the bridge will be met jointly through TfL, a toll on cars and commercial vehicles using the bridge and the £200 million of Government PFI credits. The bridge will be constructed and operated by a private sector company in partnership with TfL, using a PFI structure. .
