Answer for Crystal Palace

Answer for Crystal Palace

Answered By:
The Mayor

The top site at Crystal Palace Park is currently designated as Metropolitan open land, therefore development would be inappropriate except in very special circumstances, although the Crystal Palace Act, 1990, does make specific provision for a cultural, or leisure-related development on the top site. There are no existing proposals for development on the top site, but I am aware that local community groups and their representatives are currently discussing a series of ideas including development proposals for the top site. None of these has been submitted to me for consideration. .
