The main purpose of the TV advertisements is to promote off-peak travel on the Underground helping Londoners and visitors alike get the most out of our city. The advertisements were commissioned before the transfer of London Underground to TfL. The total cost of the TV campaign was about £1.5 million.In terms of effect it is still too early to provide a complete assessment as research is still taking place. However the initial findings indicate that the advertising is having the desired effect. .
