Under the current reporting arrangement, the functional bodies provide the GLA monitoring information on empty residential property. And the numbers are as follows. There are currently 204 empty residential units. The details as follows: Transport for London has 52 units inherited from the Highways Agency. These are in poor repair, and incapable of refurbishment at an economic cost. We intend to dispose of these.

The Metropolitan Police have 115 units. 95 of the units are to be let or brought into use shortly. The remaining 20 are to be sold within the next 12 months. The LDA has 1 unit, which has been empty for less than 6 months, and is presently in an unlettable condition. And LFEPA has 35 units. These either form an integral part of a fire station, or require access via the station or its drill yard, or are in the process of being disposed of.

At present, information on square footage on other properties is not complete. Therefore it's not possible to answer your question fully. The functional bodies are, however, currently compiling the information and I have, therefore, arranged of it be forwarded to you as soon as it's available. .
