The GLA's Marketing Team has a very small budget, and produced a series of 13 ads over the last financial year. Only three of the ads have had my picture on them the PQT and Public Services Conference ads where commissioned to promote events that I was speaking at. The total advertising cost for these campaigns was £43,600 for both creative development and media spend. A further £46,388 was spent on the Greatest Show on Earth advertising campaign (stage1), where a number of high profile people synonymous with London were featured in order to get Londoners back into their capital to enjoy its attractions at reduced rates and support the tourism industry. The GLA has an advertising agency roster that was selected through an OBJEC process. The agencies are SOUL, Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper and BMPDDB. The total spend from across the GLA with these agencies last financial year was £72,818.TfL used my image for the Bus Improvement Campaign. This involved a press campaign using my image in New Statesman, Evening Standard etc and a wider campaign around London using posters. The cost of the press campaign was £65,000. .
